This month we are focusing on the OWM Law Estate Department. We would like to introduce, Suzanne Himes, Brenda M. Heilner, Suzanne E. Angelaccio, and Ashley E. Kincaid. In their roles, they regularly communicate with clients, banks, and other external contacts, as well as with attorneys and other OWM employees. Currently, ten (10) of OWM’s thirteen (13) attorneys handle estate administration matters.
Suzanne H. is a Pa.C.P. (Pennsylvania Certified Paralegal) and joined OWM full-time in October, 2016. She has been doing Estate and Trust Administration work since 1989. Suzanne is OWM’s Estate Department Head and overlooks the administration of each Estate from beginning to end. She is also a Notary Public. Suzanne is originally from Norristown, PA; however, she currently lives in New Hanover with her husband of thirty-two (32) years, Sonny. Suzanne and Sonny have two (2) daughters, Kate, who works in real estate and is getting married in March, 2019, and Kim, who works for a local credit union. In her free time, Suzanne enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and planning Kate’s wedding!
Brenda has lived in the Pottstown area her entire life. She was born in 1975, graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School in 1992, and immediately began working at OWM. She has been an administrative assistant with OWM for over twenty-five (25) years and has worked in both of our Pottstown and Phoenixville offices. Brenda worked in several areas of the law including Real Estate, Family Law, Litigation, Personal Injury, Business Planning, Criminal Defense, Estate Planning and finally Estate Administration. Currently, she is the Estate Department’s Legal Assistant and her duties include: opening all estate files; gathering information and documents; preparing the Petition for probate, along with various other forms; communicating with clients, banks and county clerks; and keeping track of important dates/deadlines. She is also a Notary Public. Brenda purchased her condominium in 2003 in Sanatoga where she currently resides with her son, Corey, who just recently graduated from Pottsgrove High School in June. She enjoys listening to music, DIY projects, and spending time with her family and friends.
Suzanne A. joined OWM in October, 2016. She is the Legal Assistant to Michael B. Murray, Jr., Esquire and Rebecca A. Hobbs, Esquire, CELA. Suzanne assists Attorney Murray with matters regarding Real Estate and Tax Assessment Appeals. Suzanne assists Attorney Hobbs with matters regarding Estate Administration, Elder Law, Medicaid, and Special Needs Planning. Suzanne also assists all of our Phoenixville attorneys with estate administration matters. Her duties include preparing checks, maintaining the ledger for the estate checking accounts, drafting correspondence, filing, etc. She is also a Notary Public. Suzanne lives in Collegeville, PA with her two (2) children, Gavin and Mia. Suzanne enjoys staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Ashley has been with O’Donnell, Weiss & Mattei, P.C. for approximately four (4) years. Currently, she serves as a Marketing Assistant to Donna E. Day, OWM’s Firm Administrator, as well as an Estate Paralegal in our Estate Department. Ashley’s duties in our Estate Department include: paying all estate bills and processing estate deposits; maintaining the check ledger for each estate; processing insurance claims and stock transfers; and monitoring deadlines. She is also a Notary Public. Ashley attended Lehigh Carbon Community College located in Schnecksville, PA and graduated in May, 2012 with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies. In 2017, she and her fiancé, Andrew, purchased a home in Pottstown, PA where they currently live along with their dachshund, Hunter. Ashley and Andrew are busy planning their wedding which takes place this Fall, but in her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going camping, reading, and finding a new show on Netflix to binge watch.
