Community Agencies

Tri-County Interagency Consortium (TCIC) is a nonprofit social service agency that has two major purposes: (1) coordinating community health and social services and (2) providing information & referral about these services. TCIC's service area includes western Montgomery, southeastern Berks, and northern Chester Counties.

Service coordination is done by TCIC's member health and social service agencies working as collaborators to determine what services are available and what additional services are needed. When unmet needs are identified, members develop and implement strategies to fill service gaps.

FIRST CALL FOR HELP is a free, confidential information & referral service provided by TCIC. Callers who have questions about health and human services are assisted with identifying their needs and are then referred to the proper agencies for services, benefits, and more specific information as needed. FIRST CALL FOR HELP is funded by the United Way of Pottstown & Upper Perkiomen Valley Areas. Anyone seeking health and human services may call from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, at 610-705-3303.
