While realtors provide a great service in not only expanding the publicity and exposure of your home through the multiple listing service, as well as facilitating the transaction from finding a buyer all the way to closing, some sellers also do a good job of marketing and selling their property.  If you want to try and sell the property on your own, we highly recommend that you work closely with an attorney to make sure that you have all of the "i's dotted and t's crossed."
